Serendipity Hiking Trails

Description

The Serendipity hiking trails stretch over an unusual combination of valleys, gorges, savannah and mountain streams. Rock pools with crystal clear water, indigenous forests, waterfalls, and panoramic views of the Waterberg await the hiker. A large variety of trees, abundant bird life and game, can be seen and enjoyed while hiking.

Backpack trails: There is one circular hiking trail. The trail is 24 km with overnight facilities at the starting points and after 12 Km. The trail has an average grading. the trail is very well marked with white painted rods in the ground.

The two combinations available are Tierkloof Base Camp and Bush Baby camp/Bergcamp

Tierkloof Base camp option of 12km the first day and 6km the second day. Hikers arrive at Tierkloof and return to Tierkloof after each hike. The grading of this option is also average.
